Q: Why can't I use the SMS API of SL4A?

A: Strict permissions requirements by Google Play and some app stores necessitate the use of different branches with specific permissions or app stores in QPython 3x. For example, L denotes LIMITED and S signifies SENSITIVE permissions.

Sometimes, you may not be able to use certain SL4A APIs if the installed version lacks the necessary permissions. In such cases, consider replacing the installed version with the appropriate one.
